GRAN FRITTO MISTO – A majestic homemade fried seafood feast

During our stay in Puglia we went to visit Porto Cesareo, a little fish town famous for its large and very long beaches with transparent waters recalling Caribbean atmospheres. Walking around the streets in the centre you can find so many pescherias all selling an amazing variety of fresh fish! As it was too early for the restaurants to be open we opted to take a kilo of beautiful fresh seafood home and cook it ourselves. We paired it with an outstanding Prosecco called “Undici”…the rest is history! Possibly the BEST EVER FRIED FISH of my life šŸ™‚
