Watch Luca – the Italian baker making the ultimate “pizza” sandwich

During one of our pizza workshops at Homebaked we showed our attendants how to make the ultimate sandwich using two pizza dough balls, cooked at 450C° in the ROCCBOX oven, on top of each other, with a sprinkle oil between them so when ready you can easily open – like a book. It’s super COOL! Then you can be creative and start adding your favourite filling in it. We out in ours with gorgonzola & mascarpone cheese, Porchetta, rocket…MAMMA MIA! Here is for you another super yummy sandwich you can make with the same little trick of baking two pizza bases with some oil in between. This time we filled with gorgonzola & mascarpone and mortadella…SIMPLY DIVINE!
